Is South Africa Rainbow Nation Dead- artikleblak speaks

just finished watching this in it’s entirety.

All around the world, it’s the same song.

Whether it’s SA with Black majority or Brasil with a 50/50 split or USA or Australia with Black minority. Those who hold the power are usually White.

And some of those elite Whites and common White folks feel entitled to maintaining their status-quo and if they were to look into a reflection pool, in their mind, there would be NO REFLECTION.

No past of evil wickedness, be it slavery, apartheid, the whiting of Brasil, the kidnapping of the Aborigines.

Poet Lebo Mashile said it best, “This is a global problem.” @lebomashileonline

May the African Diaspora reach across land and sea and mountain and language and religion and embrace all brothers and sisters.

Cheers,

About artikleblak

Artikleblak is a panoramic color-consciousness of digital media connecting the African Diaspora throughout the world. This world is a massive environment and our images and stories and concerns are spread to sparingly throughout the planet and digital terra. People of color comprise 4/5th of the world's population. Yet we have to Google search and channel surf and scour the event calendars to find ourselves, whether it be a person, place or thing. We should nevermore let oceans, languages, religions, cultures or man-made boundaries partition us. Our humanity is to powerful to remain fragmented, lets make it ONE again. Sincere thanks, Artikleblak
