Gold Rush Ghana China

Illegal Chinese miners have flooded part of Ghana, looking for gold

The government of Ghana MUST end this assault on the land and people of Ghana!

President John Dramani Mahama,

I seek your intervention is this crisis.
Please road trip from Osu Castle up to Dunkwa and see that Ghana’s gold resources are secure and in the hands of those working towards a brighter and most prosperous Ghana.

What the illegal diggers and machinery are doing to Ghana are far worse than the affects of single-use plastics.

The future of Ghana is at stake.

These Chinese miners care nothing about Ghana. They are solely concerned about the money, as stated in the video below.

According to The Guardian, 95% of small mining operations are set up illegally. That is maniacal!

The illegal miners are destroy the livelihoods of hard working cocoa farmers and others and polluting the water supply.

And it has been reported when some of the miners are reported to the local authorities, the police take bribe and illegal miners go on their merry way back to the gold fields.

If the local police are being bribed, then they must go too!

And if the PMMC is not holding up to their social and ethical responsibility they so much pride themselves on, then TERMINATE the board and the individuals in charge!

This illegal act is but a microcosm of what could evolve across the entire continent of Africa!

Africans could become strangers in our own land.

If the governments don’t act, then the answer to the solution lies within the people of Ghana. And when people rise up, that is a revolution. There is nothing like a revolution of humanity.

The Black Star of Ghana must shine bright in this moment of darkness and not let the big Yellow and four small Yellow stars replace it in it’s own land.

With respect and dedication to the Diaspora,

About artikleblak

Artikleblak is a panoramic color-consciousness of digital media connecting the African Diaspora throughout the world. This world is a massive environment and our images and stories and concerns are spread to sparingly throughout the planet and digital terra. People of color comprise 4/5th of the world's population. Yet we have to Google search and channel surf and scour the event calendars to find ourselves, whether it be a person, place or thing. We should nevermore let oceans, languages, religions, cultures or man-made boundaries partition us. Our humanity is to powerful to remain fragmented, lets make it ONE again. Sincere thanks, Artikleblak
