Troubling Statistics ! We have wars waging in America

Troubling Statistics ! We have wars waging in America!
The statistics below boggle my mind and are heavy on the heart!
Here we are in 2013, debating and going back and forth about getting involved in the civil war in Syria and right here in America there have been 1,935 homicides in five of America’s cities alone in 2012!

Killing season Chicago.

I saw the horrific images of innocent children and others wrapped in white clothes, like mummies, after being gassed by wicked evil and I am saddened and appalled and hope with God’s speed an international solution can be implemented!!!

I don’t think we should engage with Syria alone. And I am not riding along with the Republicans on this issue.
Some of the Republicans are against going in too, but for different reasons and I doubt they are majorly concerned about the killings in Chicago, L A, Detroit, NYC. That shit ain’t even a blip on their radar. Personally, yes, I like my coffee Black.

HERE AT HOME, IN AMERICA, IN THE USA, I think President Obama needs to put part of his focus on the wars being waged in our own streets. His hometown of Chicago topped the list in 2012, 500 murders, 500!!

STOP THE WARS IN THE STREETS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

WE HAVE OVER 6 WARS WAGING HERE AT HOME, IN THE GOOD ‘OLE US OF A!!!!!!!!!

1. Chicago | 500
2. New York | 419
3. Detroit | 386
4. Philadelphia | 331
5. Afghanistan | 301 (ALL FATALITIES)
6. Los Angeles | 299
7. Afghanistan | 246 (KILLED IN ACTION)

About artikleblak

Artikleblak is a panoramic color-consciousness of digital media connecting the African Diaspora throughout the world. This world is a massive environment and our images and stories and concerns are spread to sparingly throughout the planet and digital terra. People of color comprise 4/5th of the world's population. Yet we have to Google search and channel surf and scour the event calendars to find ourselves, whether it be a person, place or thing. We should nevermore let oceans, languages, religions, cultures or man-made boundaries partition us. Our humanity is to powerful to remain fragmented, lets make it ONE again. Sincere thanks, Artikleblak
