Harleighblu: UK Singer

Harleighblu hails from the UK in the city of Nottingham. Music has always been a part of Harleighblue life since she was a young child. She begin putting pen to pad at the age of 7 at a local community recording studio. Her song writing talents lead to her performing and entertaining at break time for classmates at school. These impromptu performances allowed her natural talent to shine.  Soon she entered a number of talent contests locally and won. The prizes allowed her to acquire all the musical equipment she could ever imagine! Harleighblu’s  determination and drive and obvious passion to be creative has delevloped  her into one of the UK’s most promising young artists. She began working with a slew of producers at the age 12! There were two really important people along the way who helped her take it to the next level, Dino Nisbett and co-producer Andre Bassing. These two producers introduced Harleighblu to Dennis Seaton. Seaton had a Grammy nominated band called Musical Youth. With Musical Youth,  Harleighblu sang backup vocals. Also, Dennis Seaton helped Harleighblu from her own live band and she began performing on the local music scene. The debut album is coming out Summer 2013, produced by current producer Joe Buhdha, on the record label Tru Thoughts. With her God-given natural singing ability and the best soul and rare grooves from her mother’s music collection infused into her being since childhood, her debut should be fire! 🙂 More info at  http://www.harleighblu.com .

About artikleblak

Artikleblak is a panoramic color-consciousness of digital media connecting the African Diaspora throughout the world. This world is a massive environment and our images and stories and concerns are spread to sparingly throughout the planet and digital terra. People of color comprise 4/5th of the world's population. Yet we have to Google search and channel surf and scour the event calendars to find ourselves, whether it be a person, place or thing. We should nevermore let oceans, languages, religions, cultures or man-made boundaries partition us. Our humanity is to powerful to remain fragmented, lets make it ONE again. Sincere thanks, Artikleblak
