An open note to Mitt Romney, potentially the 45 the President of the United States of America.
Dear Mitt Romney,
Greetings from the sunny state of California.
You are the Republican nominee on the ticket for the presidential election in November 2012.
We, the American people, deserve to be able to rate your character and values in regards to you seeking the highest office in America and the most powerful position in the world.
However, the process seems a little foggy with you only releasing one year of tax returns. I truly believe personal financial records reflect an important part of the core of someone’s character and values.
And I would think you would happily follow in your father’s footsteps, George Romney, who set the precedent back in the 60’s when he released 12 years of tax returns, removing all the fog from the judgement by the people of his character and values.
And every single presidential nominee following him has released multiple years of tax returns until you. Why?
