Beginning in 1957, with the nation of Ghana, an avalanche of liberation rained down upon Sub  Sahara Africa and  the African Diaspora celebrates African Liberation Day because of it.

From Jo berg to Naija to Kenya and all the man made states in between, across the Atlantic to Haiti, Cuba, United States and Brazil where  Angolan, Cape Verdean, Mozambican and Guinean Bissauan citizens living in Curitiba, Brazil together with the rest of  the African Diaspora celebrated May 25th 2012 as African Liberation Day.

Even though we celebrate African Liberation Day,

let us not forget the wars, the famine, the disease, the dirty water, the corrupt governments and the multinationals de’spoilment of Africa’s natural resources and minerals.

The future of Africa must be in the hands of the Diaspora, if it is to be a successful future.The mentality must shake off the neo-colonial brainwashing and African nations must control the majority stakes in ALL natural resource deals.  ”He who has the gold rules.”  Then and only then will Africa be truly liberated.
